Description of App Lend&Share 

The “Lend & Share” app is designed for the simple management of items that have been lent, given away, or received—and it does even more. With this app, you can create a list of gift ideas or keep track of items entrusted to your care, such as house keys. By assigning items to specific people, everything stays perfectly organized. Information such as item descriptions, images, prices, and dates can be entered and stored. This ensures you always have an overview of everything you have lent, given away, or received. Frequently asked questions like “Have I already given this book to my mother?” or “Where is my tool?” are now a thing of the past.

The app also allows you to save standard items in a favorites list. Likewise, people who have received gifts or borrowed items can be managed as favorites. Additionally, you can create corresponding lists through simple queries.

The following elements can be recorded and managed:

1. Objects: These are items such as books, tools, etc., that have been given away or received. Additional information like a photo, date, description, and price can be added. Objects can be shared via email with other app users—perfect for gift ideas.

 2. Items: By default, categories like books, electronics, and tools are defined, but you can add your own custom categories.

 3.Transactions: The following transactions are available: Lending, Giving, Receiving, Safekeeping, and Gift Idea.

 4. People: People can be added manually or imported from your contacts and managed in a favorites list.

This app stores all data locally. For backups, you can use either the storage space on your iOS device or your personal iCloud storage. Backing up to your personal iCloud has the added benefit of allowing data restoration on other devices, such as an iPad.
